The Coffee Rule of 15

The Coffee Rule of 15 keeps you drinking great coffee all the time.

15 months - green coffee beans are the freshest and highest quality when they are roasted within 15 months of leaving the farm. When we buy a coffee lot it only lasts about 1 year before we run out, so all of our coffee gets roasted well before 15 months.

15 days - once coffee is roasted it is at it’s peak of freshness within 15 days. When you order coffee from us we roast it to order within 1-2 business days and send it off to you.  You’ll get your coffee within about a week so it's ready to enjoy.

15 minutes - you should brew your coffee within 15 minutes of grinding it. Not everyone has a grinder, and that's ok. We do sell our coffee as a drip grind if you need it ground for you. But if you want the best coffee, you should buy whole bean and grind it right before you brew it.
