Kenya Single Origin Coffee

Kenya single origin is a medium-light roast coffee with a bright acidity and smooth finish. You will taste the fruit notes of caramel, cherry, grapefruit, and kiwi. 

Our Kenya coffee comes from three separate farms: Kangundu, Nduuri, and Ena. These farms work together in the NEw Runyenjes Cooperative to produce, market, and mill their coffee crops using a centralized wet mill and raised drying beds. The coffee is collected daily during the harvest and brought to the sorting facility. They use a large disc pulper machine to depulp the cherry. Then it is fermented overnight, washed in fresh water, and left to dry in raised screen beds. The whole process takes 2-3 weeks.
